Partial boil blonde ale
Adapted from Kick Axe. Use homegrown whole cascade hops if you have them. This recipe is intended to appeal to the masses (to supply a work-related party) so I wanted to ensure something flavorful, but not bitter or too likely to limit the appeal to any particular style of beer drinker. The Rye should add enough spicy character to balance the minimal floral and citrus hops flavors and aromas.
Cereal Mash needed for jowar. Instructions: Crush the Jowar in a home mixer grinder or a mill to make coarse powder. Do not use your normal malt mill, it will most probably get jammed. Take a thick bottomed pot with 2 liters of water and bring the water to a boil. Slowly add the jowar to the water, stirring continuously.
