Mash and boil system supposedly yields lower efficiency, increase grain bill to compensate and test
O.g 1070 F.g. 1010 7.96% abv
my boil size was 6.5 but should have been 6.8, which yielded me 5 gallons Everything went smoothly. I did not need to sparge the 2nd time, just one time did the trick. need a bigger pot than the 7 gallon i am using preboil gravity was 1.037-1.043 after being calibrated for nonstandard temp(range is because i cant remember the exact temp the wart was at when i took the gravity reading.) OG=1.062 need to figure out a way to get a cleaner product after transfering from kettle to carboy
Peach and lavender. Improved grist for better body, head retention, subtle complexity and mouthfeel.
Using some of the hop box hops. Based on Drakes clone. Using Crystal 20L since they were out of the 15L. The ABV and IBU make this more of a double IPA.
